Welcome to Hideway Kindergarten

  • Hideaway Kindergarten is not just a Childcare Care Centre, it is a Learning Centre specialising in preparing children for school. It is a Centre where play based and teacher directed learning comes together to build strong, confident and prepared children who are ready to take on the school environment with confidence and understanding.
  • We are a specialized 20 placement Centre, catering for children aged 2-5. We have a large activity room that offers a vast array of resources and experiences.
  • Here at Hideaway kindergarten, we take great pride in making as many positive contributions to your child’s holistic development. Our experiences are planned and purposeful, incorporating modern learning technology and the natural environment.

  • Our program includes:
  • School readiness – programs on numeracy, literacy and science.
  • Health and fitness – programs to promote healthy, active children, building emotional preparedness and social skills.
  • Music and creative arts – movement, drama, design, craft.
  • Sustainability and nature. Our service offers a large, secure outdoor area with well-established trees and potted varieties of flora. We also have a separate vegetable garden, which the children maintain. They learn so much about growing things and enjoy harvesting the produce.
