School Readiness Program
- The moment your child starts at our Centre, the school readiness program begins. Our program covers the key developmental learning areas and is based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The program provides opportunities for each child to extend on their interests and needs and to learn the skills which are important for starting school. Our activities and experiences include:
- Name writing.
- Letter recognition and phonics.
- Number and mathematics games.
- Storytelling, including sequencing experiences.
- Fine motor experiences: scissor skills, threading, manipulating clay, dough.
- Turn taking and more
- Social skills
